Charoite is a complex silicate mineral (containing many elements) and is only found in massive form. It was first described in 1978 and named after the Chara River, its only location in the Sakha Republic, Siberia, Russia. The colour of Charoite ranges from indigo through purple to lavender and it has distinctive swirls of colour, which are all natural.
Charoite is not associated with one specific chakra point, but does enhance a strong connection between the crown and heart by combining a high spiritual energy with unconditional love. It is a deep healer in all aspects of our being. It helps us to release old emotion, recognise and release unconscious fears as well as deep rooted negativity. It also helps us to see what is real and what the mind has created, allowing us to see the good in all situations.
Charoite aids in understanding that we are always exactly where we should be in this moment. It can increase the likelihood of synchronicities and if these are recognised, can help us to follow our path of least resistance where our highest potential will be revealed.
In my opinion, it is difficult to say what specific physical ailments Charoite would be good for (some authors have listed specifics, I will leave you to research them if you wish). Most dis-ease or physical ailments have manifested due to an imbalance in our spiritual, emotional and mental well-being. For each person the physical manifestation could be different. As Charoite helps with healing at a deep cellular level, this addresses all areas of our well-being and any physical ailments associated with our imbalance should start to improve.
